Conference Presentation
A conference presentation is an important tool that helps the speaker to show better his research with concise points, graphical data, and/or illustrative examples. It is a visual aid for the presentation of research to an audience, and because of that, it must be tailored towards the audience attending the conference: for this reason it is important always to:
- vary the tone and speed of your voice,
- try to convey the emotions connected to the concepts that are expressed,
- seem confident on the topic
- smile!
So during a conference presentation, ask questions and create participation. How many times does it happen that at the end of a presentation there is an embarrassing silence when asked “are there any doubts?”, predict the audience on the counterattack, ask questions yourself, the attention span will skyrocket.
